Golf
There are several golf clubs within easy distance. The Kendleshire Golf Club is next door to the cottages and the Players Golf Club is only two miles away. The Woodlands Golf course, a pay & play course, Chipping Sodbury, Thornbury & Tracy Park clubs are also nearby.
We can offer golf at reduced rates at The Kendleshire subject to availability. Cost £20per person for 18 holes. Maximum of 4 people and pre-booking required.
Fishing
The Windmill Fisheries complex consisting of 4 bespoke lakes is close to the properties and caters for coarse fishing. The complex is run on a day ticket basis with night fishing available on the carp lake.
Bike Riding
The Avon bike path comes close to the cottages giving riders easy access to Bath, Chipping Sodbury & Bristol.
Horse Racing
Bath racecourse is 10miles away and has regular flat meetings. Cheltenham racecourse is 43 miles away and hosts its prestigious Cheltenham Festival over five days in March.
Equestrian Events
The Badminton Horse Trials take place in early May and are within easy driving distance, as is Gatcombe Park which hosts the Festival of British Eventing every year in August.
